In their first advisory session, Union Hill Middle School students made time to explore self and social awareness with an activity that gave the entire school a chance to discuss how emotions such as understanding, kindness, and courage look, feel, and sound. After detailing on graphic organizers how these emotions might take shape, they made “tag posters" to hang up all around the school in order to brighten up someone else’s day. #TakeWhatYouNeed
