The 4th Annual Young Marines Summer Program Kick-Off

We’re excited to kick off our 4th Annual Summer Program with 85 Young Marines enrolled with the help of the Union City High School MCJROTC cadets. This program helps our students build self-confidence, promote leadership skills, excel academically, honor veterans, and the importance of helping our community while promoting the mental, moral, and physical development of our Young Marines.

On June 19th, we celebrate the 160th Anniversary of the end of slavery in 1865 in the United States, which is known today as Juneteenth. It is a combination of the month of 'June' and the 'nineteenth' day that commemorates the happy news of newly-freed slaves in Texas at the end of the Civil War.
